| Maya & Maya Inc. was established by the husband and wife team of Daniel L. Maya and Maria Maya. Together, they bring a sense of accountability to the investigations industry that is often ignored. They form partnerships that have a warm, family feel to them instead of the cold, corporate feel too often present with other firms. The respect they have for each other as husband and wife is the same level of respect that Maya & Maya Inc. brings to every investigation and every new partnership.
Thanks to his time spent working with the government as a Medicare Fraud investigator and with a number of prestigious insurance firms as a SIU investigator, Daniel L. Maya has more than fifteen years of experience handling complex cases dealing with insurance fraud in the South Florida area. In addition to his Master's in International Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Thomas University, Mr. Maya holds a number of industry certifications which include Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Criminal Defense Investigator, Florida Certified Investigator, and Personal Protection Specialist. Maria Maya has spent ten years serving the public in the real estate industry investigating delinquent real estate taxes. She has often assisted investors, attorneys, financial institutions, and public entities in Miami-Dade County with tax resolutions while in the employ of the Miami-Dade County Tax collector's Office. Maria Maya is currently working towards her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at St. Thomas University
